FRIDAY

“…I’ve never seen him happier…”

“…you are all things I could ever hope for for my daughter…”

The After Party

C. Baldwin Hotel Bar

We enjoyed Romeo and Juliet cigars and used our custom matchbooks that we had from the engagement party last year. Every mingled til late and mozied to their rooms upstairs eventually.

THE DETAILS

Dinner – Steak 48

This meal couldn’t have been better! On the menu was a fresh burrata and tomato jam with smoked sea salt and pickled onion to start, followed by a choice of heirloom cherry tomatoes with radicchio, napa cabbage and white balsamic miso honey and toasted sesame seeds or a baby arugula and kale salad with sriracha sunflower seeds, seasonal berries, goat cheese and champagne fig dressing. The main course was either bone-in iberico pork chops, filet mignon or ny strip, shetland island salmon or a seasonal vegetarian option, with corn créme brûlée and buttermilk whipped potatoes on the side. Lastly, the dessert would be a warm vanilla caramel cake served with vanilla gelato, whipped cream and homemade toasted brown sugar cinnamon pecans.

Wedding Party Gifts

Groomsmen
For Brandon, gift giving for his boys took some thought. The standard whiskey-cigar pairing wasn’t the right fit for each groomsman nor would a monogrammed mug suffice. He also didn’t want it to be meaningless or end up in the trash. When considering something that bonded each of them together, he was reminded of their gamer handles when they play Xbox. As a playfully nod to the tradition of bridal party photos in their robes, he opted for black silk robes with a customized banner across the back.

Bridesmaids
For Chacha, gift giving for the girls was no brainer. They world each get a gold-leafed shell ring dish, handmade by her aunt, and a matching gold and diamond bracelet and earring set to be worn during the ceremony.
